Sketch #1

Happy New Year Everyone!!!
It's a brand new year
at Scrappin Kids
and we are having a brand new
monthly challenge
It will either be a sketch challenge,
our normal challenge,
or even an altered challenge!!
But of course, it will still be
kids related....since we are
Scrappin Kids afterall!!

We shall start off Jan 09
with our 1st Sketch challenge
Our SK Creative Advisor, Jessy
had come up with our 1st SK sketch

The challenge is to do a layout
based on the sketch
The layout has to be kids related
Designs are open to your own
interpretation but they have
to be recognizable

SK Sketch #1
Here are lovely layouts from our Residence Designers

Cookie

"This photo of Harvey was taken last X'mas
This is how excited he looks like
everytime he gets something for a present!
His face would surely glimmed with happiness"

Issa

"This photo was taken last December 13 at the UPLB campus
This little boy was so excited to wear
his new pair of Crocs and play with his little tank engine
It's blast when this two favourite things come together"
Wati

"Just look at Adam......
the boy with so many looks
He is just so photogenic that
I could sometimes just take
dozen of pics in just a few minutes"

Be inspired for the last time
by our Residence Designers
Liza & Jasmin
who will not be renewing
their term with Scrappin Kids

Liza

Jasmin
Here are the lovely takes from our
newly formed Design Team

Aniza

Michelle
"Sean my youngest - like all boys loves action
He has been taking Wushu lessons
and was posing merrily for Jessy
As I struggled to get an appropriate
title for this layout,
I remembered that he is born
in the year of the Dragon
hence, I thought it would be appropriate
to name the layout"

Vivi

"Eversince Alya went watching Madagascar 2
as her first movie outing,
she just can't stop humming
to the movie's theme song,
"I like to move it move it...."
During the whole movie,
we were glad she didn't get scared
as a first timer but really into
the movie and laughed along with us!!
She even has a favourite character
from the animation,
Marty the Zebra. How cute!"

Wendy
Journalling
"I always tried to keep Charlie
so clean as a baby,
but my attempts were shattered
when food was involved"

Yvette

"My daughter and I love to eat
out as often as we can
I love that we have the same tastes in food
We have our regular haunts,
usually cafes and restos
that serve pizza and pasta
But there's this one little coffee shop (called Blitz)
that we go to almost
every week, mainly because of their
terrific strawberry milkshake"

Do link your layout (on your blog) in the comments section

Please submit by

Hi All - You all did such great LOs :o)
Finally I had some time left to scrap - not much is happening on that account since I started my new job :o/
This sketch is just so great to work with, that I think I will use it again.
Please feel free to see my contribution for this one here: http://gusle.blogspot.com/2009/01/scrappin-kids-sketch-1-2009.html
