Our layout challenge this month
is to scrap a layout to show

how much fun your lil ones have in the water!

Cabbie Lopez

Cabbie is from Philippines
She is a proud mom to 4 active boys
and has been scrapping for 2 years

" I am a 35 year old stay at home mom to 4 active boys
and I live in Manila, Philippines.
I have been scrapbooking since 2006 and after which,

scrapbooking has not parted with me eversince.
I love the shabby chic style but I can be flexible.
I love to explore different techniques too

and I also enjoyed creating altered arts.

I hope to share with you all the passion in treasured scrapbooking
because I believe scrapbooking is not just about shopping
and being up to date, it's all about friendship,
sharing and keeping memories alive."

Here's Cabbie's take on this challenge

1st Dip

"My niece, Aeisha, loves the water very much.

At a tender age of less than one year,
her parents decided to let her feel the excitement of water.

Exploration and curiosity makes a child knowledgeable thus,
the lessons into swimming.
Splashy splashy Aeisha would play

and splash water with her dad during the fun lessons!"

"Yet another cool challenge that I enjoyed doing for ScrappinKids!

The kids have plenty of pics at the pool
so choosing one was pretty tough till I found this.

Here I tried creating water ripples to extend out
from the photo and include the green circles to give some fun effect."

Journalling :
You were obviously still not so confident in the water, Nadya
But Kakak made sure you were safe in her arms
(psst...Kakak was once exactly like you when she was your age)

"I love all of Aaqil's swimming photos!

I love all that blue as its my very Favourite Colour!
Thus I played with decoupaging, textured paste,

lots of paint (shades of Blue) and distressing."

You can do laps and swim so Well!

Galuh Boy

"I took a lot of pictures of Adam in the water.

This is the recent photo of him.
He called water "Galuh", and he just love
playing with the water.
During his last visit to the pool, he is brave to just
float himself in the floater without any help"

Journalling :
"Adam don't call it water, he called it
"Galuh" in his own language.
He simply love playing with galuh!
At 28 months old, he is able to float on his own"

Yup it was almost the end of summer
when he had his play in the water.
He enjoyed every single moment of it..
He had so much fun that it was very difficult
for us to get him out of the pool"

Aquaholic
Issa "Every child has his own fun moments specially
when playing with water.....
this is one of Enzo's addictions as well, water!
This photo was taken during out summer getaway
at one of the natural springs in San Pablo City, Laguna.
Enzp and my eldest child surely had a great time
playing in the natural cool waters,
and promised to be back next year."
